Why CoolHound exists

CoolHound started with one frustrating problem: flat-faced dogs — Frenchies, Pugs, Bulldogs — can't cool themselves the way other breeds do. They can't pant their way out of the heat, so they end up hunting for cool floors and still ending up miserable on hot days.

Most "cooling" mats we found were gel-filled — the kind that warm up under your dog in an hour, or split and leak the first time a nail catches them. We wanted something simpler and safer: a genuinely cool surface with nothing inside to leak, puncture, or swallow.
